Note our new E-mail address. It is now: This issue includes some very interesting articles. Take a look at Barb Ryan's Ménière's Support Group in the Newsletter and read about World Action on Salt and Health and four pages on Low Salt Foods. Is the web site a good, new look and even better than last quarter's? If it is (or not), let the Webmaster know? He is interested to know what you think. Send an E-mail to: designer@redbackwebstudio.com. A new link has been added to the web site for Deafness Forum, Word of Mouth, Better Hearing of Australia and Australian Hearing. We have found a web site for the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery Foundation. It is one of the oldest medical associations in the United States. Especially interesting is the 'Museum' page with information on hearing appliances/aids dating back to 1588 and described as being made of wood and shaped like the ears of animals that were known to have acute hearing. This site has been added to Links above. As a recently introduced feature, an 'Archive' has been developed and we are gradually adding articles on Tinnitus from earlier Newsletters. Move your mouse cursor over the 'Archives' button (above) to display a drop-down list of the current articles available. Then click an article of interest. When you have finished reading that page, and want to read more, click your browser's Back button to return here, or use the normal navigation buttons. |
There are two alternatives to viewing the Archive web pages individually: (1) you can read and print the Archive's entire contents in Adobe Reader (PDF) format. Click (2) Click You will have the options to Open, Save or Cancel. Click the programme's NOTE: you may have a web browser that does not display everything that's on this page. You will need to install Flash Player to get the best view. | more | If you have any articles you think may be of interest and would like included in the web site, contact Sue Ward at the Society.
